* The ottoman’s base is also covered in linen; however, it is NOT a slipcover. It’s there permanently. A cushion sits on top of the base, but I bought the cushion without a cover. The ottoman was not originally purchased with the couch, but I saw it at the outlet, and it went perfectly with the couch, so I couldn’t resist.
There are 3 back supporting cushions.
2 side cushions, one for each side.
And 1 single-seat cushion, which goes the entire couch length.
Fabric is a heavy linen. Light cream color.
Cushions are made with down and stuffing, which is exceptionally comfortable.
This couch was custom-ordered by someone through the Pottery Barn catalog. Its original price is $4,500. They decided they didn’t like it.
So, I was blessed to purchase it at a discounted rate.
I will pass that savings on to you.
I priced it low because when I went to launder the slipcover (about a year ago) at the laundry mat, I had no idea how it poked a hole in it. You cannot see the hole unless you take off a pillow.
Please remember this couch has been used. There are some very light marks, but nothing to deter a great deal on a PB Couch!
The cushions are made with real down, and when my older kids visit, they note that it is the most comfortable couch they have ever sat on.
The castors are on the bottom of the couch. I love that; it’s a heavy couch but super easy to vacuum under.
I unwrapped the couch today, 4/8/25; it is currently in a storage unit. I laundered all the covers, including Lysol Laundry Sanitizer, and put everything back together. It smells so comfy. The couch is unwrapped and only covered in blankets in the storage unit, so I want to see this sell.
You will need to transport this couch precisely as is. I do not recommend putting it upright or on its side. Because the slipcover is heavy linen, it isn’t easy to take off and put back on.
I hope this answers all your questions
