Description
This is a gorgeous, very solid and well-made sofa by Lee Industries. It is in the English “roll arm” style – very classic and comfortable. Cushions are firm and this is a roomy sofa that is a delight to nap on!
It features piping on the tight back and topstitching on the cushions. The feet have beautiful brass casters that function perfectly.
It is upholstered in performance fabric made by Perennials, which is what Serena and Lily and Restoration Hardware use on much of their furniture.
We had it upholstered in 2021 and have had it professionally cleaned 2x since then by Personal Touch (we do this for furniture and carpet every winter).
The fabric looks new and is incredibly easy to maintain, which is critical for white upholstery! Most stains wipe right off. It is even bleachable. I haven’t needed to do that for this sofa ever, but my daughter’s nursery rocker is also a white Perennials fabric that I have bleached with great success.
Here’s a link to the fabric for more info (Perennials “Rough ’n Rowdy” in the color “Blanca”):
https://www.perennialsfabrics.com/product/rough-n-rowdy/?sku=955-28&id=580
The fabric runs close to $100/yard.
This is a timeless style similar to the Serena and Lily “Miramar” line or the Williams Sonoma Home “Bedford” collection. These sofas, which are of the exact same quality as Lee Industries (bench made in North Carolina) and upholstered in the exact same fabric brand, retail for $5500+ and would likely take months to get right now.
Thanks!
